Event Description

Hi folks,

Just wanted to make you aware that the ISS will be crossing the Sun's face next Friday morning at 9.41. I will be attempting to photograph it through my solar filter.

You need to be within 3km of it's 'centre line' which in this case crosses right over the public park/beach in Parksville.

I will be heading down there next Friday, probably aiming to be there for about 8.45 to give plenty of time to set up. If anyone else wants to join me let me know.

This is all subject to a) Clear weather, b) ISS orbit isn't changed.
