For Canada Day, the Nanaimo Astronomy Society will have solar scopes out at Maffeo Sutton Park as part of the Canada Day celebrations to let people look safely at the sun to view sunspots and solar prominences. We will also have a booth/tent where we can display information about astronomy and our group.See More
